Re: Bestarium question
I have a character who (for my own amusement) I do not allow to recruit (or tame) fighting companions in the normal way. Quest companions, legendaries, and bestiarium comps are OK, but not comps from inns or shelters, or tamed in the wild. I can't think of any other reason (other than completism) to...

You can still log in through a browser (Small yellow button at top right next to the language button). My original account was through Facebook, and I still use it for a couple of characters.

Re: What the difference between Brooch and a ring?
Rings and pendants only use one piece in addition to the gem (the mount). Brooches additionally require a clasp. Where jewels give bonuses to more than one skill, the use of two pieces gives the possibility of improving more than one of them. Three-piece jewels (necklaces and bracelets) give even mo...

Re: How to access Grimaldaz Region?
You will need to recover the essential item from the ratkins, free (and recruit) Yraen Assalan, and complete the Leon and Lucia questline. Then talk to the falconers at their HQ to get the 'Trouble in the South' quest.

Re: mining simblior in Den
I can't remember what I used for my simblior quarry, but it's only 39 extraction, so it was probably steel/nuerte. It works fine.

You need to unlock olkznar by completing the penpals quest for the ogron. Then the irrigation goes into a field (I don't believe it works in a greenhouse).

Re: Small Phoenix Eye
Phoenix Eye can be extracted in the Shortblades at 50% presence, and in the Den at 100%. The best chance of a loot drop appears to be Higrann's casket in Tarsinth with a reported presence of 3% - probably quicker to build a mine. :D First thanks for the replying Second, Yes, I built a mine in Short...

Re: beating Den resistance with irrigation machine
I built a marapis irrigation machine and was surprised it didn't beat land resistance. I guess I've just been lucky in beating land resistance with my machines. My irrigation foundation is marapis. I still had - resistance to beat. How can I determine what mats will beat land resistance? Thanks! Al...

Would one of you emperators propose a gold trade in or a gold sink of some form? Please.. Pretty sure me and hunter have paid more than enough to be an emperator (just not at the right time). Sorry I need to start making forum posts regarding this, you know in the real world they destroy old curren...

Re: Mining Salt?
If your inner completionist says "Must... Have... Salt... Mine..." then go ahead and build one- but that's really the only reason for doing it (at least until the unlimited salt shop at Pebble Bridge gets nerfed or removed)

Re: Teaser Grimaldaz
It is possible to place a camp in the 'Collines des Frissons' (though not to travel there). Doing so shows (currently) that the name of the region (in English) is 'Grimaldaz Hills'. Prior to this announcement, I thought that was the whole of Grimaldaz

Re: very confused about skill...
Your total skill is calculated from a number of sources. 1) Hero skill (average of hero's skill in the field, and skill in the specific trade) 2) Companion skill 3) Tool skill 4) Location skill 5) Magic (potions and jewellery) 1-4 are combined (highest to lowest) by taking percentages 40%/30%/20%/10...

Re: Bestarium/Greenhouse questions
The greenhouse allows you to make potions, herbal dyes and feeds. The only machine that matters is the stove (you must have an irrigation and a plant dryer, but they don't have any effect). Put the bestiarium where it is a) cheap to build and b) convenient. Location has no effect on its functionalit...

Re: Mine in Renaissance Mountains
You don't *need* the Den for Norstria (though you do need Dowen Cellar). Having said that, you will have considerably more trouble in Norstria if you haven't toughened up in the Den first. It has always struck me as a weakness in the game that there is no viable "non-combat" path through t...

Most of the games I donate to have card processing forms which require i)Name (as it appears on the card), ii) Card Number, iii) Card expiry date, iv) CCV and v) nothing else. PayPal describe the real-world personal data they require as 'billing information' - it is not; they're not sending me a bil...
