Re: Double crossings spending
Wait, you mean you deleted one of your six and then created your first character on a different server? Because I'm not sure you need a crossing for the first chr on a server (same way you get first chr without a crossing on your original server). I've only ever played on 1 server but I can try late...

Re: Looking for Loucantar Guild
If you didn't find a guild yet, now might be a good time to check on Main in the new merged server - lots of half-empty mature guilds are recruiting.

Should be reading the Discord
It was announced back in January in the link above. It just came in later than we thought, so we can't really complain...
Just in case it helps anyone (haven't seen a formal announcement - mat losses from dismantling are back (at 5%).

Re: Some news from Virtys!
Don't worry Céline, some of us are still happy ;) (And I'm not convinced online activity has dwindled on Loucantar at all - I'm always amazed how often we have new players starting considering the game's been around for a while and it's tricky getting Silverlight working these days. But I guess Virt...

Re: Some news from Virtys!
Sounds like exciting news to me :D The things I enjoy most about TS are the pace, the ability to advance via a focus on crafting rather than combat, and the frankly insane efforts you guys put into balancing the mechanics (seriously, I'd love to read a long blog about that one day). So it has occurr...

Galandrite ore drop rate in Behemoth Moat
Not sure if this counts as a "bug" or not, but have the drop rate and quantity for galandrite ore in Behemoth Moat been adjusted during the last week? I was averaging 20 ore or so a day before; in the last 50-60 actions I've had 3-4 successes each with 1-3 ore (just accidentally deleted my...

Re: On the Shores of Lanfar: Therian Sage Interview with Falkarma
Worth asking here actually: I found it looking for the interview where someone mentioned that the grand plan for the whole continent and regions was inspired by the map in Ultima. Does anyone remember this or know where it is? I'm worried it was the old Joystiq one that I think got deleted.

Re: Holidays update/ Mise à jour du temps des fêtes
"The quest to access this task must be accepted before January 7th" seemed fairly unambiguous to me. But also: you could collect 21 candies in Hawkoria and Lanfar, and if I've understood correctly the "outstretched hands" actions in Norstria (and Tarasquan) will remain available ...

Re: Battle Strategies etc.
Hmm - I did (wyvern). I thought I only had bow equipped then too (didn't think I attempted any hits with hero in that fight either - was trying to level boar and Yormun, got one for Yormun) but I may be misremembering.

Re: Battle Strategies etc.
Don't want to make things complicated but I just fought the watchmaker with only a bow equipped and got a slashing skillup on my hero (character Rufio). Shouldn't that be impossible?
(Loucantar server, skillup message was timed 21:58 UK time if it helps to track it down in the logs...)

Re: Random
And sometimes you will have 3 or 4 "win" in a row. Don't know the English for "tirage sans remise"... it's not 48 and 5. FWIW I think that's "sampling without replacement" - each draw is independent. Humans are great at seeing patterns in things even when they don't ex...
