Re: How many alts is too many?
Most people, by the time they get into Lanfar and Norstria, have many alts. The game designers recently imposed the limit discussed above for non-premium accounts. (A premium account is simply one you've spent blue crowns on, to acquire 'crossings' and other perks. Some people have all the perks, so...

Re: Gilfaniel Laboratory Exploration bug
It's certainly annoying, but this isn't true. You can easily grind up urban in the depths. Perhaps "must" was too strong a term, inspired by my dislike of the land skill concept (which I feel adds effort to the game but not fun). However, it is certainly true that grinding in the Lower De...

Re: Gilfaniel Laboratory Exploration bug
I couldn't find it, either, and I have an exploration total about ten better than its supposed concealment. This is a serious problem, as one must grind a tile in there to get the urban up high enough to get Rowan, and she's most helpful for many Norstria quests. Hope the fix this bug soon.

No criticism intended. Just thought you might appreciate knowing the correct spelling.
And thanks for making this site. It's immensely useful, almost on a daily basis.

Re: theriansim.com - simulators and utilities
I've been meaning to note this for awhile now: "resource" is misspelled two places I've found. Both are in the passive harvesting section: "Choose a ressource to be collected by passive workers", and when you click on a resource, "Show ressources list". In each case the...

Re: Cancel single tasks bug
There is probably some implementation reason why it works like that. But they really ought to add "cancel part of a sleep cycle" to their "to do" list. It may be more difficult to implement, but the software design choices should be made with the goal of making the user's life ea...

Re: Cancel single tasks bug
If you cancel a task all tasks that follow it are cancelled as well. I have never seen that work any other way. I have seen what you are describing with sleep. For some reason, it is not possible to cancel a number of sleep tasks; you cancel all of them or none of them. However, I have not seen this...

Re: Probabilities of skills rising
There is no such thing as a truly random number when dealing with computers. This is because they are deterministic by design. Simulations, implemented in random number generation libraries, vary in how well the simulate randomness. I have wondered about the randomness myself on the occasion of a la...

Re: Scam / spam account
This is probably just a scam; there's no gold. The scammer wants people to visit a website which will try to plant malware, or he wants bank account information he can use to clean out the account. But if it is not, the developers might study who is farming gold and then mailing it to other players ...

sell all as in sell it all with one click not spend an hour selling one by one Ah, I misunderstood. They need a "deposit all" function, was well. However, a player would have to be extremely careful with "sell all" and they would probably get support requests. "I accidental...

Re: Things I believe would improve the game
You can sell most of the junk you collect - weapons and armor - in the cities. If you really have stuff you can't sell, you can buy Shesal Al for a concession for blue crowns. She will absolutely buy anything you care to sell her, but she sells nothing - if you sell it to her it is gone from the game.

Re: Things I believe would improve the game
Another useful feature: allow people to move their houses. Occasionally someone joins a guild and discovers they have constructed a house so near a guild facility that it's difficult to access one of them. Perhaps for a few BC, grant individuals the right to reposition a house within the same region...

Re: Gold sellers spam
Inevitably, as a community grows larger, there will be a few bad actors joining. Scams like this exploit greed, which all of us have to some degree. The post office here warns, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". It's a cliché, but it might just save your money.

Re: theriansim.com - simulators and utilities
A question: how does 'preload a list' work in crafting simulation? Does it read a file? I'd like to make a list of the mats I can get, adding to them as necessary, so I don't have to keep ticking boxes each time, if that's possible I can't figure out how to do it.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: mining simblior in Den
Wiki says Rails for Ore is a prospecting machine in addition to being an extracting machine. Rails for ore only work in a mine. They will let you prospect for ores and/or nuggets available where you build. Rails for ore placed in a quarry are valueless. (Yes, I did that as a new player. I'm not pro...

If you're discussing the clothing trade-in, that requires only naval and clandestine agreements. You can gather both with a page, if he is properly trained and starts with a commerce skill of 10+. I am doing this. Pages need 3 comfort, so the ornament is far less important than the furniture. I used...
