Getting and using Root

Getting Irangard Root:
It can be gathered at Andenversan Woods (A4)
Requirements:
Botany 73 / Swamp 61
Possible combination to do it:
Swamp:

Hero 67
Golem 67 (To get to Hero and Golem 67, you need to fight at B4 (63 Swamp) inside the Andenversan Woods)
Clothes 46
5 ring

61.1 effective unpotted

Botany:

Flora 83 (from herbalism), Botany 78(from Lamden mariglacius at Tarasquan)
Stone Sage 58
runic gala billhook (59)
ring (4.9)
pot 6.6 (lamden mariglacius)

The task is 3 hour long and gives 1-2 Roots.
It has a CD of almost 7 days


Using the Root
Use Case 1 - Jewlery
At least for most of us the best first use is to make a good jewellery runic pot to be able to cut the stardust:

The 7.5 pot unlocks Stardust 4c cutting

Use Case 2 - Forging
Root+Volcazu+Eli 60 -> 7.5 Forging (pending screenshot, data comes from TherianTools)
This will unlock 81 Temple Forging (superior Scissors), plus 82 normal Forging (superior Kmane Chest)




After that there are many possibilities which I am sure we will explore as the Roots become more frequent

Bowed out here. Hates grinding land skills. Applies triply so in Anderversan Woods on a non-combat character. Never even knew about its cooldown. Deepens that distaste.

How good of a Runic Forging Potion can you produce? Suggests Twistyfoot/Irandgard Root/Stra Watchful.

Why? Looks for a +0.2 jump. Allows 82 tasks in a Metallurgical Factory. Saw Rustic Kryanbor Harnois Boots at that. Might permit Superior Kryamane Runic Scissors with levels from that. (Reaches no greater Sewing heights, though.)

Already used my Root and I don't have the Stra 60 to check.
But theriantools gives 7.5 forging runic pot with Root+Volcazu+Eli 60

I will update the original post with more info when found
