Castle location advantages?

Are there any advantages to having a castle in Lanfar as opposed to Hawk? Couldn't find an answer in forums.

First of all, your castle will be at the same location than your HQ. If your HQ is already in Hawk or Lanfar, you have no choice for your castle.

According to me, there are only two parameters influencing the choice :
- time and cost of HQ enlargement -> easy in Hawk
- proximity of giant ressources you will use to max accommodation score to limit transportation time -> probably easier in lanfar

you can do the math to be sure, but I would say the first parameter is the most important so pick Hawkoria. And you are absolutely sure to meet the requiered landform score.

For me, another important issue is that the castle will provide a place with very high confort.
It might be best to place it next to places where people do loads of crafts (around hawk)
