Guild outpost with 40 comfort

Postby Markusjh » Fri 19 Feb 2016, 19:16

Is it possible to build a guild outpost with a 40 comfort rating ?we are stuck at 34 with mohair bedding and nuerto for knockdown furniture. Am i correct in saying silk bedding would give 39 comfort? (Silk bedding has 5 more comfort then mohair)thats still short of 40 though..

Idea is to automate T3 in shortblade domain.

Are you looking at Bed's Comfort, or Knock-down Furniture's? Sees Nuertesilicio/Mohair Bed at 34 Comfort. Makes a difference. Example:
- Complex Nuertesilicio/Waxed Cotton Bed: 28 Comfort.
- Complex Nuertesilicio/Waxed Cotton Knock-down Furniture: 22 Comfort.

Should calculate Outpost’s Comfort as 5 + (.95 * x). For 40 Comfort,
5 + (.95 * x) = 40
.95 * x = 35
x = 36.842
Needs 37 Comfort Knock-down Furniture. Lacks beddings to test. Sounds like either Mansion territory or Wingu Beddings. Cannot say for certain.

Presumes Noble Furniture is not allowed for Outpost. Never tested that either.

looking at knockdown furniture comfort..cant use bed in an outpost..dont have noble furniture recepie yet

yes complex nuerto bed/mohair bedding gives 34 comfort..

but knockdown furniture (200 planks 20 bedding) nuerto /mohair only gives 29 comfort..

fearing it might be wingu bedding?

so back to square one.. any suggestions/ someone that can test knockdown with wingu bedding??

Even if it is possible with wingu, you would need to 300 wingu fabrics though. A mansion might still be cheaper.
Noble furniture recipe is discoverable, or you can ask someone else to make one for you.
If you don't have a mansion blueprint yet, you can consider buying a blueprint from another guild or invite someone who have learned the blueprint to build one for you.

so its not really worth building a 40 comfort outpost? what is the going trend for most guilds.. build an outpost just to be able to sleep? so far i think our plan was to build domains that will allow t3s to autogather the lanfar resources so as to free up main characters for other tasks.. not all of us have alot of alts..

it seems a 40comfort 40 prestige outpost may not be realistic for now?

Typically builds it for easy resting. Serves Tier Two workers, though. Covers Quarryman, Lumberjack, and Prospector with 5 Comfort. Suffices for many Lanfar resources.

What Deva said.

Our guild built an outpost (with knowdown furniture made from cedar + and linen beds)
- At Shortblade for marapis, odie nuggets.
- At Ren. Mt. for dom ore, lanferite, borm
- At Den to let players rest (also enough for T2 to gather palpable if you have a quarry there too).

And a Mansion for T3 to gather Oceanite at Irangarnish island.

Cool thanks for the replies!i think well go with a simpler outpost enough to cover t2s and let us sleep in between gathering resources..will keep mansion in mind for the oceanite though!

Areas where Mansion is needed:
Maliken Sea (Melandrin)
Iranganash strait (Oceanite)
Dalesseria Valley (Salandrin)
Jotun Forest (Salandrin)
Den (Simblior, Gems)

All other areas have a typical Outpost (not much comfort needed, T2s how low requirements)

Sewed beddings anyways. Grew tired of being without them.

Simple Nuertesilicio/Wingu: 42 Comfort. 74 skill.
Simple Salancedar/Wingu: 46 Comfort. 74 skill.
Regular Nuertesilicio/Wingu: 48 Comfort. 84 skill. Not possible.
Complex Nuertesilicio/Jutug: 37 Comfort. 68 skill.
Complex Melandrin/Jutug: 37 Comfort. 68 skill.

Complex Nuertesilicio/Norstrian Mohair: 29 Comfort. 56 skill.
Complex Nuertesilicio/Silk: 23 Comfort. 50 skill.
Complex Nuertesilicio/Waxed Cotton: 22 Comfort. 50 skill.
Complex Nuertesilicio/Linen: 18 Comfort. 50 skill.

Works with Jutug, in theory.

Cedar is a type of wood. Basically what the frame of the furniture is made of.
