finding maredoss plants

Where can I find maredoss plants (not the berries). I've got some potions that contain maredoss as an ingredient and sim lists it, but guides don't give a location to harvest or find it. I have been around most basic places and not gotten it as a drop.

Maredoss doesn't actually exist in game afaik, but it's listed in Theriansim because its stats are known.
