Building my first Inn in Hawkoria Plains... so advice?

Planning on building my first in on the plains of Hawkoria to get my hands on some T2 companioins.

Any general advice with regards to materials to us?

Don't. The presence of T2s is terrible in Hawkoria and you'll waste a lot of money doing it there. Get to Lanfar and build your first inn in Loudthunder forest.

You can get all T2 companions at a better presence (and some T3s, at different presences depending on where you build your in) in Lanfar.
In Loudthunder, you can build your inn with materials bought from the NPC in Hawkoria. To be able to recruit all companions from the inn, you'll need at least a complex limestone sculpture and a complex cedar counter.

You'll rarely sleep in Hawkoria, so an Inn has no real value there.

With one exception.
If you plan to play with more than one character and share a concession between your alts,
then you are well advised to build one in a Hawkoria concession. That concession will later
house all your Higher buildings e.g. Bestarium, Academy, Greenhouse, Fashion house, etc.
For obvious reasons that concession should be one of those that allow 100 room / expansion cycle.
