Questions on foggy pearls extraction

Hello all,

I understand that you need to complete a quest-line to get metascience and the sanctuary recipe and you need a samponar to build it.

I am mostly curious about the outcome and the samponar bonus' effect on that so I start gathering the right materials for a good setup or order it to someone already. So:

Q1: How much pearls you get per extraction and in how much time? (I understand the Den is best so let's say Den)
Q2: Does it work the same way with other resources (50% of skill is added to presence) and is it worth it to invest on a high skill samponar?
Q3: With what skill most people start with? A 15 skill one, 30, 40?

I get 15-29 per attempt and it takes 1:09:26 or 16.5 energy

Should affect pearl amount, similar to other gathering buildings. Never installed anything other than 51 Metascience, however. Costs far more for minor gains.

Elaboration on Question Three: Requires specific material types (such as fine fabric and meta ingots). Cannot choose Linen Fabric, Copper Ingots, and so on. Produces fairly good Samponars with cheaper meta materials, fortunately. Typically gains 1-2 points for pricier materials. (Example: +2 for Solone -> Azulio.) Amounts to 0.5% – 1% in presence. Barely affects it.
