How to switch server?

Hi, I play on steam, and I don't see anywhere that can let me choose server when creating character, or at the launcher.

As I see in game chat only 10ish players online, I presume I'm on the new server?

So... is it possible to switch server?

Hello

- old or new server... don't hope to see things like 1258 players it's a small (wonderful) game with a small (wonderful) community... but yes, Filgar exists only since June. You can see how old a server is on the "server choice" - see bellow)
- you can't change the server of an existing character
- to change it before the creation of you character, it's in the top right of the screen (see pictures)

One more question tho...
If I mainly play solo, but want to trade with other players (through market and chat/forum), is it better to start at the older server for the population?

As you have to pay 2x taxes on the market (when you put something on the market : 5%, when someone buy it : 5% again) we use market for "big" items that we're certain to sell. We trade mostly directly in game (chat) or with the forum. But if you have things that are very usefull (blades, chisel,...) it will work in the market, just be sure of the price (npc prices are far from reality).

I play both old and new FR servers, there's no big difference : old servers have more players, but they need less things and mostly "big" items (i.e. runic tools, best gem,...) / new servers have less players but they need more "little" things (i.e. maple logs + iron nuggets to produce steel)

I feel that the difference between old / new server is that in new one, we don't have tons of items. It's easier to find something to sell, to be "the specialist of...", but it's harder to find something you need to progress (we started collecting kryan 10-15 days ago and I need tools in kryan for at least 2 months).

Justbe sure you sell
- something the others need
- it on the right price
