increasing spying

I have 17.6 spying, with a ring and having a hard time finding ways to increase spying. Where/how can I increase? Thanks!

1. Increase Leadership or Commerce.
2. Collect Criminal Favors (16 Spying) and Political Favors (18 Spying at Bolgatur Fortress). (Could buy Seals of the Gold Ingot. 23 Spying task. Requires far too much money, though. Not recommended. Offers a 34 Spying task for Academy in the Den too.)
3. Better companion. Rowan (Norstria quest) = Conspirator (Mansion) > Conjurer of Dreams (Den Inn) > Young Lord (Mansion) > Diplomat (Mansion) > Charmer (Tier Three Sociability).
4. Obtain the Secret Vault blueprint. Build one. Collect favors from there. (Not recommended. Takes a long time. See: this thread.)

Requires very little Spying for Den quests. Ramps up for Norstria. Also gives out easier methods (see: Rowan and Halmvik's repeatable 40 Spying task).

Recruiting a spy and getting a spy case actually increased my spying to 33!!
