Max Effective on Skills
Re: Max Effective on Skills
Well, on reset I don't remember, but since the update, I spent aound 2400 BC all together on everything
I took 30 denhiums to get to 93 / 94 right now.
Missing this important Science 94.
In fact, I was able to craft lvl 84 with the help of someone looting a new rune 80 on Iriza, crafting a compass 53 and lending it to me.
I crafted us new stills with Stra 60 to get to higher Alchemy.
With that Science 94, I will be able to craft lvl 84 Tools without his compass 53.
Anyway, just got my new porch ^^
Iriza is my new Emperator boss idea, so I know about him ^^

Re: Max Effective on Skills
Table updated with the addition of Frim 80, for tools.
Due to its rarity, I did not update the new pots cartable by frim 80, with the exception of Woodworking.
Anyway, the other pots do not affect any important trades, e.g. Sewing still lacks a good runic pot.
Also a new table is available with all runic pots (and one non runic per trade for comparison).
Kudos to my guild mate j42k for lending me his Frim (yeah I know what you think - Do I ever do any tests with my mats? well... nope )

What kind of thing?
And the Table isn't up to date anymore

The relevance has been lost. Ignore my post.
I don't know about the table. I guess that as soon as there is a serious amount of grimalpure in the game and the appropriate machines and tools have been made, it will be updated.

I have tried to update fingon's table relative to the Grimaldaz update to the best of my ability. I'd like to say firstly that I am in no way trying to supplant fingon or take credit for this. The vast majority of the work is his, I'm only trying to lend a hand. I highlighted all the changes I made in red. I used theriansim for almost everything, so please comment if you notice anything off (I'm sure there are at least a few mistakes in there somewhere). I also did not have a frim 80 rune, nor is it included in aknoth simulator, so I'm not sure if that would have any substantial effects.

WOW the red is really aggrssive ;D
some ideas...
with an 80 frim you can make an 8.0 Masonry pot and i think the grimalroc megathings should go higher then lithosnow?
there also is an 7.6 stonecutting potion with 80frim which should make it possible to get to 82 in the temple and make the new herbalism tool out of grimalpur (65). In turn this should enable you to get to 90 Herbaslim (char)
also this enables 85 potions in temple and should allow for some new ones to craft...unfortunately lots of potions are at level 86.... don't think we can reach that

Re: Max Effective on Skills
Thanks for the info on the frim 80 effects on stonecutting and herbalism. I thought that might be possible. Will go back and update accordingly later today. Also changed the edits to a less-aggressive blue
Re: Max Effective on Skills
Turgmush Norstrian Piles are Skill 80 to make. Not 81, so 85/85 Carp is max.
Re: Max Effective on Skills
It appears even with the 65 herbalism tool, you can get to 90 hero stats and 85 effective normal herbalism, but unless I miss my mark you'd still be .1 shy of 85 effective temple herbalism.
I think aknoth might've seen this, because he added the Frim 80 to simulator. Thank you, Aknoth.
So I added best potions using Frim 80. I followed fingon's notation and gave anything using Frim 80 a gray background. My second round of changes taking in input, I marked in green. Hopefully it's not too hard on the eyes. I'm just using the colors to keep things straight while I iron things out. Fingon has given me permission to edit his original document, so will edit the original when everything's been firmed up, and put everything back to plain, easy to read, colors. I really appreciate everyone's input.

Re: Max Effective on Skills
stupid .1 but yes you are right....
Re: Max Effective on Skills
Even with the 85 temple herbalism, I doubt it would've really opened any significant new avenues.
Edit: I also haven't checked if new wingu/olkgu clothing is possible with improved sewing, that will change max land stats. Will add that to my to-do list.

I did.
Do not hesitate to ask for such things if I miss it.
Re: Max Effective on Skills
I have edited fingon's original page with the changes, as he has given me co-authorship. So everything can be found on the original linked page again, and any future additions by me or fingon, will appear there.
The skills, rings, and tools, sections have been updated (minus new clothing for terrain), but not the potions one.
