PayPal forces signup when trying to pay via Credit Card

When i click on an item in the shop, and choose to pay via credit card i'm taken to paypal (USA) which shows creating an account is optional, however when i choose my own country (UK) i'm forced to signup for paypal which is not something i want as i already have paypal account that i don't wish to use with TS.

This was never the case in the past and I simply want to pay via credit card. Please advise?

EDIT - After some experimentation seems to be a cookie issue on the paypal site, i logged into my account, made a few payments elsewhere and when i logged out, the shop option was working as expected and i could pay via credit card without having to sign up with paypal \o/
