Sell Fee

i am wondering why we are paying a sell fee when the sale is added to the market. and, paying it again when the item sells and we get our gold. ???? doesn't seem right! paying 2.5% times 2.

Why ? ... because we choose to do it that way.

It's a tax of 5%. But you pay only 2.5% to put your object on the market. And pay the rest only if someone buy it. It can be surpizing the first time, after you will maybe count "5% for the tax" in your price
