Gilfaniel Laboratory Exploration bug

Hi,
i'm on doing the Soriason questline and got to "fog essence" quest, where Grimald Ousbervald from Farlamburg sent me off to Gilfaniel Laboratory.

Ater talking to him i got a marker on the map where the lab should be (i checked with online maps), but when i try to explore it i get the "nothing of interest message" as if it is not there.

I checked that i have both the search skill AND the land skill.

Another player (Melindra) posted the screen of the lab she explored previusly (pre update i think) and it is state as 1000 concealmente! as if it should be revealed from a quest..

could it be a bug?
Why am i sent exploring the place if i cannot find it anyway?

i've the same problem with one of my characters.
maybe location discoverability got changed from exploration to quest?

yes have exactly the same exploration bug with gilfariel's lab

There is a similar problem with the Ogre site in hawkoria. There is a quest that gives the site and another quest much later on that requires the site to be completed but the second quest doesn't require the first one to be started. This means that if you didn't do the first quest, you'll be stuck in the second one and not realize why. The work-around is of course to do the quest that gives the site but which quest that is might not be obvious to everyone...

Same bug on Fiergrue with the character Sidoh-PadurPador. Impossible to see the lab and in my memory it's Grimald Ousbervald who should show it.

I couldn't find it, either, and I have an exploration total about ten better than its supposed concealment. This is a serious problem, as one must grind a tile in there to get the urban up high enough to get Rowan, and she's most helpful for many Norstria quests. Hope the fix this bug soon.

It's certainly annoying, but this isn't true. You can easily grind up urban in the depths.

did Grilfariels lab exploration dozen of times on my alts before update, newer got a problem, now we cant explore it, so dont tell me about some quest requirements... its completely bug

Perhaps "must" was too strong a term, inspired by my dislike of the land skill concept (which I feel adds effort to the game but not fun). However, it is certainly true that grinding in the Lower Depths is more dangerous, because the monsters there are stronger. That consumes more resources and time.

Not true, there is 2 locations both near each other and there only spiders atack. Much more easier to rise land skill in the Depths, than in the Gilf.

The real problem is that you cannot progress the Soriason questline (and thus learn metascience) without the location. Glad it's being fixed that quickly

Just checked and i still can't explore it (on wojtek at least), please let us know here when you'll have fixed it so we don't explore in vain
