login failed: access denied

was working fine, then I got disconnected and now get that message when trying to enter game

can log in account just fine, get to character select screen, press play, and that message appears

tried logging out of account, and back in, did not help

Just started playing today. Was taming the wolf for 42 mins so I left the game. Came back an hour later and am also getting "Access Denied" kinda frustrating really; it seems like a good game but needs some code cleaning.

There is also the jumping icon thing when exploring caves.

Just tried again. Seemed like it was about to work, but then same message came up. I think they're suggesting we download to the client, so I'm gonna go try that out.

It worked, I'm in. Client download was quick. Installation was quick & easy. Finding where the .exe went not so much. I had to search for it. lol

I downloaded the client too I just found the Icon, Silverlight installers, Uninstaller, and XAP file.... I'll have to search for the exe as well it seems.

As it was working for a while (now getting the access denied message) without the issues, fully understand that there might be some issues due to the migration but I'm not willing to Download the Client Version as I feel that this shouldn't be a necessity.

I had issues when the same thing was suggested when there was a download available through the partnership with Gameforge and ended up going back to what I was originally using then.

Also I'm not very computer literate when people start talking about finding exe. files I just get lost.

Lol, Exe just means executable. It is a Program file....
Also I can't find the exe.... what was it called on yours Yushi?

So does this mean there is a certain time in which the Access Denied is activated then?

I have the same issue. I also just sent an email to support from my account email because I wasn't sure if there might be account security issues involved in correcting it (because of the access denied message).

Ad hoc, I can always use the downloadable client I guess. But, I have four characters and I do not want to end up being forced to lose the convenience of four browser windows.

EDIT: Ha! and right after I clicked submit on the above part of this post, I went to the game and I logged in no problem. Could this have been fixed already or possibly it's a sessions cookie / timer issue?

No Idea I just was able to log in as well. So it seems like a timed issue. I wonder at what time did it go down for maintenance last? It could be it is locking us out for maintenance even when none is happening.

anyways, combat is super laggy too, not sure if you guys can fix that

I'm in the game via browser now. and not in combat, so game running nice & smooth.
